On coop, the hardest part of the game isn't even a boss, it's just the desert level itself. If you want to be even more careful you can do the magic jump and light attack every time you switch from moving UP to DOWN and vice versa because changing direction can be a little risky if a troll is already swinging their weapon because doing a magic jump almost guarantees you won't get hit when dodging a swing. When you are doing this you want to make sure you are ALWAYS moving either UP or DOWN or diagonally at all times to avoid the swings from the small trolls. Now that it runs from every hit, you want to do the MAGIC JUMP while on the boss' hitbox and LIGHT ATTACK at the peak of your jump, ALWAYS do this so that when you land you won't be immobilized for half a second and risk getting hit. To kill the Troll mother quickly, you want to do the drill combo (light, light, light, heavy, heavy at level 50 with 15 magic) or another combo that constantly hits the boss until it starts running after every hit. The troll boss becomes really easy once you get consistent with the lightweight juggle or if you do the quick kill strategy on the boss.
